Chocolate Marshmallow Brownies
A decadent dessert featuring rich chocolate brownies topped with fluffy marshmallows and a creamy chocolate frosting.
Ingredients
For the Brownies:
2 cups sugar
⅓ cup cocoa powder
4 eggs
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
10 oz miniature marshmallows
For the Frosting:
½ cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
Prepare the Brownie Batter
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually mix in the flour, salt, and vanilla until fully combined.
Bake the Brownies
Spread the batter evenly onto a lightly greased half-sheet pan (18x13x1 inch).
Bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Add Marshmallows
Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the miniature marshmallows evenly over the top.
Return the pan to the oven for 3 minutes, just until the marshmallows puff up and soften.
Cool and Frost
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Once cooled, prepare the frosting by mixing the softened butter, milk, vanilla, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting over the marshmallow layer.
Serve and Enjoy
