Creamy Lemon Mousse
This light and fluffy lemon mousse is the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and sweet. It’s an easy no-bake dessert that’s great for any occasion!
Ingredients
1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
½ cup (120g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup (100g) powdered sugar
¼ cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: Whipped cream and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Whip the Cream:
In a mixing bowl, beat cold heavy cream with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Lemon Mixture:
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
3. Combine Everything:
Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon mixture using a spatula until fully combined and fluffy.
4. Chill and Serve:
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with whipped cream and lemon slices if desired.
