Hot Sloppy Joe Dip
Ingredients:

2 lbs extra lean ground beef
2 green bell peppers, diced
1 onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp kosher salt (or to taste)
1 tsp ground black pepper
Cayenne pepper, to taste
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup ketchup
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Directions:

1️⃣ Cook the Beef: In a large pot over medium-high heat, add ground beef, diced bell peppers, onion, garlic, flour, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Cook, stirring, until the meat is browned and most of the moisture evaporates (about 15 minutes).

2️⃣ Make the Sauce: Stir in chicken broth, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium. Let cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened (about 45 minutes).

3️⃣ Add the Cheese: Preheat the oven broiler. Transfer the beef mixture to an oven-proof dish. Sprinkle half the shredded cheese on top, lightly stirring it into the dip. Top with the remaining cheese.

4️⃣ Broil to Perfection: Place under the broiler for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.

5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy: Serve hot with tortilla chips, toasted bread, or soft pretzels!
