Crockpot BBQ Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Buns for serving (optional)
Coleslaw for topping (optional)
Directions:
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
In a separate bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring that the chicken is well coated.
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
Serve the BBQ chicken on buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
