Crispy Chicken Wontons with Sweet and Spicy Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked shredded chicken
¼ cup cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp green onions, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
20 wonton wrappers
1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sriracha
½ tsp soy sauce
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Brush edges with beaten egg, fold diagonally, and press to seal.
Heat oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry wontons for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, sriracha, and soy sauce.
Serve wontons warm with the dipping sauce.
