Refreshing Peach Lemonade
Ingredients:
½ cup granulated sugar
4 cups water, divided
¾ cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
Ice cubes, for serving
Peach slices and lemon slices, for garnish
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the peaches soften and release their juices.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then blend the mixture until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp if desired.
In a large pitcher, combine the peach purée with the remaining 3 cups of water and fresh lemon juice. Stir well.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
Serve over ice and garnish with peach and lemon slices. Enjoy!
