Baked Paczki (Polish Donuts)
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1 packet active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix yeast and warm milk in a bowl, allowing it to activate for 5 minutes.
Add flour, sugar, egg, vanilla, butter, and salt to form a dough.
Knead for 5 minutes, then let it rise for an hour.
Roll out dough, cut into circles, and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
