Soy Garlic Ribs
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds pork ribs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish (optional)
# Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
3. Add the pork ribs to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.
4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the ribs on the baking sheet in a single layer.
5. Bake the ribs for 25-30 minutes, or until they start to brown.
6. While the ribs are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the marinade and 2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl.
7. After the ribs have baked for 25-30 minutes, brush them with the glaze and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and sticky.
8. Remove the ribs from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions (if using).
9. Serve the Soy Garlic Ribs hot and enjoy!
# Tips:
- You can adjust the amount of garlic and ginger to your taste.
- If you prefer a thicker glaze, you can reduce the amount of water or add a little cornstarch to the glaze.
- You can also grill the ribs instead of baking them, just brush them with the glaze during the last 5-10 minutes of grilling.
