Banana Bread Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting 

Ingredients:

For the Cake:
½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1½ cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)

For the Frosting:
½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the mashed bananas, ensuring the batter is evenly mixed.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.

To Make the Frosting:
In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy.
Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, mixing until fluffy.
Gradually add the heavy whipping cream, beating until the frosting is light and spreadable.
Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake, slice, and enjoy!
